Washington DC 2 israeli Embassy staff shoot out killed outside in jewish museum

Wednesday night the Two israeli Embassy employees killed out in Washington DC in outside of jewish museum. Official said A suspect is in custody.

The Two victims has been identified as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim. The Law enforcement Officials describes the Attacked as targeted and said Suspect shouting " Free Palestine".as he was being detained. The shooting was being investigated as a hate crime, a law enforcement source said.

Yaron Lischinsky is an israeli citizen, and Sarah Lynn milgrim is an American. They are young couples.

The suspect ,Elias Rodriguez, 30, is now in custody and the FBI is investigating whether the attack was linked to terrorism or a hate crime.

The couple was leaving the networking event in the capital Jewish museum , organised by American Jewish committee  at about 21:08 (Washington DC time) when a man opened fire with a handgun at a group of four people.
The suspect went inside the museum. Witnesses said that they initially thought the man was distressed and gave him water.

We heard gunshots and then a guy came in .we thought he needed help," eyewitness Katie Kalisher told the Media, referring to the suspect before they realised he was the alleged shooter.

Footage then captures the suspect shouting "free, free Palestine" while being detained by police.

Been verified that the suspect has been  working at American Osteopathic Information Association since 2024.
The Israeli brand ambassador in US Yechiel Leiter, told  reporters that Mr Lischinsky had just bought an engagement ring and  planning to propose to Miss Milgrim next week in Jerusalem.


US president Donald Trump and Israel prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu have condemned the attack.

Trump said: "These horrible D.C. killings, based obviously on antisemitism, must end, NOW! Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA."

Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken with the parents of both victims, according to a statement from his office.

He has to promise increase the security at israeli Embassies around the world following the attack.

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered condolences, saying, “My heart grieves for the families of the young beloveds, whose lives were cut short in a moment by an abhorrent antisemitic murderer.”
